Before every session
Read live cheat status and BattlEye status notes — do not load during Updating unless docs say otherwise.
Close overlay and macro tools not on the allow list; stale kernel hooks from other games cause false kicks unrelated to DayZ modules.
Patch-week discipline
After Bohemia or BattlEye patches, run one offline config test before joining high-pop official servers.
Reset hotkeys if the loader updated — duplicate binds have caused accidental aimbot toggles in safe zones.
